Lavandula angustifolia
Lavender is a plant associated with calm, purification and the threshold between worlds. Since ancient times, it has symbolised active serenity, emotional clarity and care for the spirit, and is regarded as a guardian of rest and the sacred spaces of the soul.
Throughout history, lavender has been cultivated in medieval monasteries as a medicinal and spiritual plant, used for perfuming, healing and protection. In ancient Rome, it was used in ritual baths; its name derives from the Latin *lavare*, meaning ‘to wash’, and it was associated with purity and renewal. In Provençal tradition and in European folk herbalism, its presence in the home was a sign of care, inner order and silent protection.
An aromatic plant with abundant and long-lasting blooms, lavender thrives in the sun, in poor soil, filling it with its characteristic beauty. This drawing invites us to cultivate rest as a conscious practice, to honour the thresholds of our lives and to recognise the potential for the sacred in everyday life.

Los prints se guardan en sobres de papel glassine libre de ácido, un material utilizado en archivos y museos para la conservación de obra gráfica, que permite conservar la pieza de forma segura hasta decidir enmarcarla o utilizarla. En combinación con la impresión fine art, este sistema asegura una durabilidad estimada de hasta 80 años, sin alteraciones en colores o texturas.
Cada envío incluye, además del print, su certificado de autenticidad físico y una tarjeta con la descripción de la obra, para acompañar y profundizar la experiencia de la pieza elegida.
En el caso de obras enmarcadas, los cuadros incorporan foamboard para proteger el vidrio, refuerzos especiales en las esquinas del marco y materiales resistentes cuidadosamente seleccionados para garantizar un traslado seguro.
