Juniperus communis
Juniper is one of the oldest plants still found alongside humankind, associated with protection, endurance and profound purification.
Since ancient times, it has symbolised silent resilience, care for the body and spirit, and a presence that endures even in extreme conditions.
In ancient European cultures, its branches and berries were burnt to purify spaces and protect those who lived there. In Celtic traditions, the juniper was regarded as an inhabited, living and sentient tree, home to protective spirits. In ancient Rome, it was associated with fertility, and it features in biblical texts, legends and sacred tales.
A slow-growing plant of extraordinary longevity, the juniper withstands extreme climates and endures where other species cannot survive. Some specimens live for over a thousand years, reminding us of the strength of patience, the wisdom of time and the protection that comes from perseverance. This drawing invites us to honour inner resilience, deep care and the quiet, watchful presence that protects without making a sound.

Los prints se guardan en sobres de papel glassine libre de ácido, un material utilizado en archivos y museos para la conservación de obra gráfica, que permite conservar la pieza de forma segura hasta decidir enmarcarla o utilizarla. En combinación con la impresión fine art, este sistema asegura una durabilidad estimada de hasta 80 años, sin alteraciones en colores o texturas.
Cada envío incluye, además del print, su certificado de autenticidad físico y una tarjeta con la descripción de la obra, para acompañar y profundizar la experiencia de la pieza elegida.
En el caso de obras enmarcadas, los cuadros incorporan foamboard para proteger el vidrio, refuerzos especiales en las esquinas del marco y materiales resistentes cuidadosamente seleccionados para garantizar un traslado seguro.
